Before cutting
Inspect the tool, collet, nut, workholding, toolpath, extraction and guards. Remove all setup tools before starting.
During cutting
Remain able to stop the machine. Watch for vibration, unusual noise, heat, smoke, poor chip evacuation and workpiece movement.
Stop immediately
Stop if anything loosens, the tool is damaged, vibration increases, burning odour or smoke appears, extraction fails or behaviour becomes unpredictable.
Limits and precautions
For every rotating accessory, its rated maximum RPM must be at least equal to the machine operating speed.
