What is ToolSelector for?

ToolSelector helps users choose a cutting, routing, drilling or abrasive tool according to the machine, material and operation. The website provides conservative technical recommendations, guides and supporting resources.

Are the recommendations guaranteed?

No. Values and recommendations are general starting points. They must be checked against manufacturer documentation, machine limits and the exact specifications of the tool.

Which machines are available in the selector?

The selector currently includes CNC routers, router tables, drills and drill presses. Additional machines may be added after the technical data has been validated.

Which materials are covered?

The first module focuses on MDF, plywood, acrylic and aluminium composite. Guides and technical sheets may also cover other materials depending on the tool family.

Does ToolSelector replace manufacturer documentation?

No. Instructions from the machine, tool and material manufacturers always take priority. The selector does not replace training, safety instructions or validation on the actual machine.

Why should I test on scrap material?

Machine rigidity, runout, clamping, extraction, tool quality and workholding can change the result. A progressive test on scrap helps confirm the cut before machining the final workpiece.

Are product links compensated?
